Blessed for Waiting in the Son

The most impressive thing about waiting is the magnificent and minuscule blessings and favor discovered during and experienced after I wait for God. Unfortunately, waiting still bewilders me as the timing of my circumstance is challenging to anticipate or predict. God knows, and He expects me to follow with His plan with zero transparency, trusting in Him.

At times, it's hard to recognize His favor until I realize my blessing was being the blessing for someone else. God is in control, and with every unforeseen obstacle, frustrating experience, or failed expectation, His ways and thoughts remain ideally suited for me.

I can no longer compare my waiting for God in the Son to the flawed definition of the world. I know my blessings happen when I wait in a peaceful, humble state, instilling His knowledge and inspired word into my heart, and repent for the ungratefulness that streaks through my mind. Only God knows when, how, where, and how long I hope, seek, expect, and wait. Therefore, I grant Him undeniable permission to comfort me from start to finish of a tricky, demanding, or inconvenient predicament commanding me to soar in uncommon ways.

Dear Lord, thank you for your infinite love that protects, comforts, and delivers me from the chaos and confusion I endure while waiting. May my spiritual eyes see your divine favor working, as my heart perseveres, my mind obeys and my mouth flows with gratitude and blessings to your holy name. Amen
